This policy covers this website, genrent.ai, and the early-access form on it. The site is operated by Vertumi LLC.
What this policy does not cover
The product itself lives at app.genrent.ai and is used by property-management businesses under a separate written agreement. The information those businesses put into it belongs to them, and this policy says nothing about it.
If you are a renter or an applicant who received a text message from a business that uses GenRent.ai, the document that applies to those messages is that business’s own messaging policy, published at its own address and filed with the carrier registry against that business’s campaign. It is a different document from this one, and this page is not a substitute for it.
What this site collects
Nothing, unless you submit the early-access form. This site sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser’s storage, and carries no analytics, advertising or tracking script. We run no analytics on it and build no profile of you. Like any website, the server that delivers these pages records the requests it serves.
When you submit the form, it sends us:
- Your email address. It is the only required field.
- Your answer to “Units managed”, if you fill it in. It is optional, and it is stored as the text you typed rather than as a number.
- A fixed label saying which form it came from, so we can tell one entry point from another.
- Your name and company, if you ever send them. The form on this site has no such fields, so it never does — but the endpoint behind it accepts and stores them, and this page describes what can be held, not only what this page collects today.
- Any
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_termorutm_contentvalue that was in the address of the page you arrived on. These are put there by whoever linked to us; we read them to know which link worked. - One hidden field that exists to catch automated submissions. Whatever is in it is discarded and never stored.
The form asks for no phone number, no postal address and no payment detail, so we hold none of those unless you send them to us yourself.
Where it goes
The form posts to app.genrent.ai — the same company, a different server — which writes one row: the email address, the units answer, the form label, the attribution values above, and the time.
That server runs on DigitalOcean’s App Platform, in their New York region.
Your IP address is not stored. It is used in memory only, to cap how many submissions one address can make in an hour, and it is dropped when that hour is over. It is not written to your row.
When a signup arrives we also email it to ourselves — the same details, so that a person can read it and reply. That message goes through our email provider to our own staff addresses, and to nobody else.
If a submission fails, an error report is sent to Sentry, our error-tracking service, so that we find out. That report is written to carry no email address, no name and no IP address.
Your browser also loads this page’s typefaces directly from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google therefore receives your IP address and your browser’s user-agent as part of that request. We receive nothing from it and we send Google nothing about you.
What we use it for
To contact you about early access to GenRent.ai, and to understand which links brought people here. Email is how we reply, because an email address is the only contact detail the form asks for; if you later give us a phone number — in a reply, or on a call — we may use it to reach you about the same thing.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it. We will not claim a retention period we have not built: nothing in the system expires a waitlist entry on a schedule, so an entry stays until someone removes it by hand.
Asking what we hold, or asking us to delete it
Write to [email protected] and say which address you signed up with. We handle these by hand, because there is no automated export or deletion in the product.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not keep a public archive of earlier versions.
